About this concert
BLACKBALLED
Oldham based 3 Piece "Groove Rockers" Blackballed have taken the blues and made their own style. They play it like they mean it but a tongue is always planted firmly in their collective cheeks. Featuring former New Model Army guitarist Marshall Gill with powerhouse backline Tom Wibberly on bass and Alex Whitehead on drums their infectious riifs and grooves are not to be missed.

THE AUTUMN SAINTS

STEVIE JONES & THE WILDFIRES
Stevie Jones and The Wildfires are a well-established Northamptonshire based independent 4 piece who deliver their own unique blend of modern alternative rock centred around powerful acoustic-based songwriting. Their 4th album 'Getting There' is out now.
? There?s a raw alt-folk rock honesty (New Model Army, Levellers) but also a melodic Americana influence in the guitar-led songs (Ryan Adams, Tom Petty). And for those of us proggers, maybe even the slightest element of Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson in some of the more progressive rock moments? ? Spirit Of Progressive Rock

Foxpalmer Biography
Fern arrived in London with the first two tracks from her “Locked in Memory” EP, which was recorded at “The Priory Recording Studios” based in Canwell, with known Birmingham based producer Greg Chandler. The track “Fault” caught the attention of Anders Ekdahl when he heard the track being aired on a European radio station. Following this since he was so impressed with the track he asked Fern if she would take part in an interview for him for the magazine Battle Helm. Fern went on to record another two full band tracks “Alone” and “In My Head” for their EP Locked in Memory and also three acoustic versions of “Alone”, “In My Head” and “Fault” as extra tracks on the EP.
Whilst going through various line-up changes, experimenting with different sounds and textures, Fern regularly performed on the open mic circuit in London, securing residencies with various promoters. Whilst performing in Camden, number 1 singer/songwriter and famed beat boxer Dana McKeon enjoyed her set so much she featured the track “In My Head” on her unsigned Radio Alternative show “Explosure”, introducing Fern by saying “You really have to see her live to appreciate how good she is”.
Fern Foxpalmer, having now recorded her EP “Locked in Memory”, is now in the process of expanding her ever-growing following through performing shows and internet exposures. Fern’s ambition for the next year is to perform some festivals, support tours, increase her online presence, and to grow as a songwriter and performer. Fern also continues to create her “deep & soulful” music, drawing on her diverse influences in the hope of touching listener’s hearts.
