Girish And The Chronicles Biography
The name that comes to your mind as soon as you hear the phrase "Rock 'n Roll"! Formed in October 2009, by vocalist/singer-songwriter, Girish Pradhan, Girish and the Chronicles is a Hard Rock/Melodic Rock/Heavy Metal band based out of the Indian city, Bengaluru. Originally from the state of Sikkim, India, the band released its first single, “Angel”, in the winter of 2009, followed by songs like “Loaded”, “Golden crown” and “Smile little child”.
Known for heavy overdriven guitars and high pitched screaming vocals, and high energy live performances, the band holds on to sound of the the ‘70s and ‘80s style of hard rock, heavy metal music and power ballads, which is evident in their songs.
Over the 10 years of their existence the band has set a good name and standards in the Independent Rock Scene of India, with frontman Girish Pradhan, considered to one of the finest Hard Rock singers in the country, by many. GATC has toured across the country and over seas as well in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Dubai-Abu Dhabi (UAE), Montenegro and Nepal.
The band also has a worldwide reach on YouTube, with more than 2 Million views on their song, Endless Road.
