The Riddims

We are an original High Desert Reggae band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our music is inspired by Roots Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rock and our native New Mexican music. These inspirations formed the genre "High Desert Reggae" which is gaining popularity in the Southwest Region of the US.

The Riddims consist of 6 members; Myles Chavez, Chris Cruz, Donavon Ortiz, Petey Gabaldon, Tony Gallegos and Kevin Sanchez. We have been honored to share the stage with many touring bands including; New Kingston, Hirie, Seedless, E.N Young, Through the Roots, Arise Roots, Iya Terra, The Supervillains, Brewfish, Fayuca, Black Bottom Lighters, as well as Reggae Legends Sly Dunbar, and Robbie Shakespeare plus more!

We released our first EP titled "Homegrown" in May 2016. It is available on iTunes, Spotify, and all digital outlets. We also released a new single "These Vibes" ft Gary Dread of The Movement in the Fall of 2017! Stay tuned for the release of our first FULL LENGTH ALBUM!
