It has been quite a few years since I was lucky enough to attend an Ani Difranco show. (around 14!) I have seen Ani Difranco in many venues in many cities, and over the 25 years, I have listened to her music. She gets better with age. She put on a fantastic performance with her bandmates. They were all in sync and vibing off one another. Joy Clark was a positively lovely addition; she is such a beautiful being with so much soul!
The House of Blue Houston is an intimate venue doing the concert scene right. It was nice grabbing a bite to eat, a drink or two, and merch. The bathroom attendant in the women's restroom was so sweet and very helpful. I've attended shows in the main room and the Bronze Peacock, and they both feel so intimate and exclusive.
