About this concert
Speers Point Park reserve is a grassed open – air venue located alongside the incredible Lake Macquarie. This magnificent site is outdoors, and general admission patrons are encouraged to bring a camp chair to the event. Note that picnic rugs are not permitted No BYO alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages apart from sealed bottled water, no glass, no sharp items, tents, umbrellas or shade structures, No M, C Club attire, pets or furniture. All Rockbar Patrons must hold a valid Rockbar Ticket Regardless Of age. This event is general admission. Patrons are encouraged to bring a folding camp chair. Eskimo Joe Biography
Eskimo Joe formed in 1997 in Fremantle, Western Australia, comprising Kavyen Temperley (bass/vocals), Joel Quartermain (guitar) and Stuart MacLeod (guitar). They received national radio airplay on Triple J with the release of their first single Sweater in 1998.
Their debut album Girl was released on Modular in 2001 and went gold. After splitting with Modular, they signed a new contract with Mushroom and released a further two albums: A Song Is a City in 2004 and Black Fingernails, Red Wine in 2006.
