De Britse muzikant Michael Kiwanuka verscheen voor het eerst in ons collectieve geheugen door zijn debuutalbum Home Again. Een getalenteerde, bescheiden man met Oegandese roots en een honingzoete stem, Michael viel op door het meest emotioneel meeslepende eigentijdse soulgeluid van de afgelopen jaren. Zijn derde album, KIWANUKA, werd een complexe en uitgebreide uiting van eigenwaarde. Gezien Michael’s indrukwekkende carrière kunnen we ons alleen maar voorstellen hoe bijzonder het vierde studioalbum gaat worden. Met fans als Barack Obama, Adele, Tyler The Creator en het voltallige PAARD-personeel, zijn we vereerd om aan te kondigen dat Michael Kiwanuka op woensdag 6 november naar PAARD komt.

What an awesome experience! Michael was of course just sublime. The band of 10 or so great sounding vocalists and musicians were a perfect match. Sounds, lights, audience (MK's fans are just the best ever!) were fantastic. The mood was great and made an extra special night even more amazing. MK played all the right songs and blew us away with perfect renditions of everything we know and love. Such a modest and laid back artist who's created some of the most enduring tracks which simply need to be heard live.
