Given A Chance

Given A Chance is a pop/punk alternative rock band out of San Antonio, TX. Originally formed in Charming, California back in 2003 by founding members Jawnboy Salinas and Tony Chance. Although having a few member changes from the origin of the band, GAC has grown together as a solid sustained band of musicians with current members Tim Mireles on bass and vocals and Nick Velasquez on lead guitar. Coming from all different types of musical backgrounds, is what sets GAC apart from just your everyday punk rock band. In this diversity of music ethics, they call Given a Chance, they lean towards a pop punk sound that stays unique with twists of catchy riffs, solid lead and rhythm, ripping bass and aspiring lyrics as well as structured drum techniques. Their newest EP release entitled “Now or Never” is a display of this, and is just a sample of what’s too come. GAC has conquered San Antonio, and gained support all over Texas, and is now venturing on to touring more across the country. Given A Chance brings something fresh to the table, something unique to the scene, and something that you can simply respect and enjoy.
