Michael Kaeshammer Biography
Michael Kaeshammer isn’t so much a piano player as a piano whisperer, a master musician and songwriter able to coax dazzling, kaleidoscopic sounds from his instrument in a way few can rival. That gift powers Kaeshammer’s 15th album, Turn It Up, released March 1, 2024 via Seven.One Starwatch/Sony Music Germany.
Born in Germany and residing in British Columbia, Kaeshammer has earned seven JUNO Award nominations, and has been called “Canada’s #1 piano player” by CBC. He has captivated audiences around the world, highlighted by 10 tours of China, countless shows opposite international superstars, and three appearances at the Olympics to audiences in the millions.
Michael also hosts the national cooking/lifestyle TV show called “Kaeshammer’s Kitchen" where he welcomes celebrity musical guests in his kitchen.
