Ej Jackson

EJ Jackson embodies the essence of Alternative R&B. His sound is unique to him and unlike anything in today’s music. Inspired by two musical greats, John Legend and Kendrick Lamar, EJ Jackson delivers with precision, offering both pensive lyricism and perfected tone. He has toured major cities such as Los Angeles, Detroit, and Las Vegas etc. and has recorded songs with the likes of multi-platinum recording artist Twista; 7x GRAMMY® nominee BJ The Chicago Kid; Big K.R.I.T., Def Jam Records alumni; Mila J, sister of R&B star Jhené Aiko; and ELHAE, who is currently signed to Motown Records. But go back even farther and you’ll find EJ was predestined for this life. His love of music began when he was three years-old. He grew up in the church as the son of a co-pastor. In eighth grade he was appointed minister of music in his church. He stuck to what he knew and launched his career as a Gospel artist which eventually landed him a spot on the 2015 Chicago Gospel Music Festival. After approximately two years, EJ started to transition his talents into mainstream Rhythm & Blues with the help of his mentor Mali Music, who also made that move and got a record deal with RCA Records. The transition meant he was turning Gospel messages into something everyone can gravitate toward. After his single “Back Around” achieved one million streams worldwide it solidified the transition for EJ.
