French-born, UZ stands out as one of the pioneering figures and most forward-thinking innovators in electronic trap music, sharing the spotlight with icons Baauer and Flosstradamus. With an impressive portfolio of just over 250 releases, he remains an influential tastemaker, continuously shaping the trap genre through his groundbreaking original compositions and his trendsetting label, Quality Goods Records.
UZ made his mark on SoundCloud in 2012 with the groundbreaking "Trap Shit" series, a collection of 25 genre-defining trap classics. His influence extends beyond SoundCloud, with heavyweight projects like the "BallTrap Muzic Vol.1" compilation commissioned by Redbull Studios and his 2017 debut album "Layers," which soared to #24 on the Billboard charts. His discography boasts numerous albums and collaborations with major pop, rap, and electronic artists, including T-Pain, Ice Cube, DJ Shadow, and many more.
