Marvara performs highly energetic folk music composed by bagpipe player Marieke Van Ransbeeck (BE). The music reflects Marieke’s experiences and memories from a breath-taking musical journey in the Nordic countries. Marieke is accompanied by 4 musicians: bass player Frederik Mensink (DK), cittern player Villads Hoffman (DK) and percussionist Mårten Hillbom (SE) and diatonic accordion player Hilke Bauweraerts (BE).
