Dead Vinyl Biography
We represent one of Texas’ most exciting, energetic new bands DEAD VINYL, a four piece, vintage rock and roll band, hailing from Fort Worth, Tx. Dead Vinyl incorporates explosive all original music based in 1960s roots with hints of soul and R&B. The catalog spans decades of music, from classic to new and contemporary hits. Pairs well with Wolfmother, James Brown and Led Zeppelin. With set times running from one to four hours, Dead Vinyl is a perfect band for a bar/venue or a private event.
“Dead Vinyl channels the dangerous parts of rock and roll and puts them in a 21st-century context, stretching blistering vintage riffage over a frame of contemporary angst, charging rhythms, and soulful vocals.”
-Fort Worth Weekly, June 2017
“Absolutely dynomite...sends shivers up the spine.”
-Dallas Observer, January 2019
“After all, as a unit, they are tight as f#$*, their performances linked by telepathy that comes from constant jamming made possible when a band all lives in one place.”
- Fort Worth Weekly, October 2019
Album of the Year - 2018 Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards
Artist of the Year - 2018 Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards
