Out of sheer superstition, then, we won’t brag about our other essential metal hub, home to outsized international (Abbath, Enslaved, Rotting Christ), domestic (Midnight, Obituary), and local acts (this entire bill). Empire, Mohawk, and Parish all book live metal, but this former Latin disco and brief home to Antone’s maintains prime log-cabin acoustics and mosh pit intimacy.
