Jenn Em

Jenn Em grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a small town outside of Washington, DC. While growing up and attending school, she was surrounded by music, and from a very young age she knew it would be the most significant piece of her life. She began playing piano at the age of four, wrote her first song at age six, took up violin at seven, and throughout the years managed to sing almost every day since she could talk. In high school, Jenn began to explore her love for music further by venturing into the world hip-hop and r&b. Her first major success came in 2008 when she released a remix of Wale's "Nike Boots" feat. Lil' Wayne. The track exploded in the DC area and gave her the fan base she needed to take her music to the next level. After graduating high school she moved out to Los Angeles, California where she is currently writing and recording her raw-soul-inspired debut EP.
