Influenced heavily by Frank Zappa drummers, bandleader Chris Lesso spent years touring the world with Tony "Wild T" Springer & The Spirit and is now a highly acclaimed figure in the country's rock and drumset community (endorsed by both Sonar Drums & Sabian cymbals he has toured the country as a drumset clincian); the Trinidadian born Brownman Ali is widely known as a multi-award winning jazz/hip-hop trumpet iconoclast and is heralded as "Canada's pre-eminent jazz trumpet player" by New York's Village Voice; and Dane Wedderburn (subbing for Ian De Souza) is a highly sought after bassist in Toronto's busy funk & gospel scenes, and the bassist in Robert Ball's NEO-LAB neo-soul/jazz sensation. Modus Factor's debut recording "The Picasso Zone" (released on Browntasauras Records) shot to the top of the charts garnering rave reviews upon it's release for it's one-of-a-kind sounds and uniquely exploratory improvisations.
