Just last year I we said we gotta see Danny Gokey! You were here in branson last year but we had to work. (Walmart)) we just moved up to nixa in November. Jeremy camp was at Aetos fortunately my wife met him at walmart. Ok , my wife and I jus
t. Celebrated our 26th WED. ANN. ON THE 18TH she's been sick with the flu and we hoped she was better by the 25th she's a Lil better to attend your concert. WE HAD A GOOD NIGHT! it was fun! We had church! , but here's what we wanted to share with you. We moved from oceanside California 2 years ago. Yes your ITS A NEW DAY was filmed at the strand! We were so excited! Especially you have in the background our favorite life guard tower #6 were my family and I sun bathe and picnic at while enjoying the beach! Anyways my wife is (was) into fitness and she would listen to her head phones and she said she would listen just haven't seen it yet, while running down at the strand. She said it was prophesied . You filmed ITS A NEW DAY. Yes so we're so excited! We love you &All of our favorite Christian artists that we've seen and will soon to.! Anyways tonight meant something to my wife and I because we're going thru several challenges right now and God put you in nixa for such a time as this! You talked about Joseph and job . They were faith men! Yes we live by faith and not by sight. Thank you for doing and following God's heart . We love you! God bless and keep the faith. Greg and Miriam horan. Danny Gokey Biography
GRAMMY nominated, Capitol recording artist, Danny Gokey became a favorite of millions of fans as a top 3 finalist on season 8 of American Idol. In 2010, Gokey released his debut album, My Best Days, which garnered record first-week retail and digital album sales for a male debut artist in his musical genre and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 albums chart. In 2014, Danny released his second album, Hope in Front of Me, debuting at number one on Billboard Christian Airplay Chart. His single, “Hope in Front of Me”, topped the Billboard Christian Airplay, Mediabase Christian Adult Contemporary, and Billboard Christian AC Songs Charts. “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” earned RIAA Gold Certification in May 2018. Danny’s Christmas Album, Christmas Is Here, and his most recent studio album, Rise, (released in 2017) also debuted at number on the Billboard charts and garnered the chart movers, “Rise”, “The Comeback”, “Masterpiece” and “If You Ain’t In It”.
Danny has earned multiple award nominations, including American Country Awards’ New/Breakthrough Artist of the Year, GMA Dove Awards’ New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Christmas Album of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year, and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year, and GRAMMY Awards’ Best Contemporary Christian Music Album among several others.
