Hailing from the UK and residing in California, the anonymous DJ and producer, Kordhell, has quickly become a household name in the emerging Phonk scene. Getting ready to break boundaries, Kordhell will be the first Phonk artist to go on an official, national US tour. Kordhell who has accumulated almost 14 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, making him one of the platforms top 500 artists in the world. The creator of some of the biggest trending audios across social media, Spotify, and achieving UK Top 100 status, Kordhell started with humble beginnings. Signed by Black 17 Media in 2020, the label saw immediate and immense potential in Kordhell, who was reaching close to 5000 streams per day. Fast forward to 2023, the artist is now hitting over 4 million streams per day. His hit single 'Murder In My Mind' went officially RIAA Gold in February and his song '9 In My Hand' feat. Key Glock is used in the latest Fast & Furious sequel, Fast X, which is a first for Phonk artists. Known for its hypnotic beats, Phonk is making waves with a sound that seamlessly blends hip hop with electronic, it’s rapidly grown to take over some of the country’s largest trends across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The genre is the result of 90’s underground Memphis Rap fusing together with a dark, electric house twist. Kordhell is at the forefront of the rising Phonk movement.
