About Wild Bill and the Bruisers
Wild Bill and the Bruisers is the rowdiest band you’ll ever see! Their improbable journey began in February 2020, just as a worldwide pandemic touched the North American shores. In the most tenuous of times, Wild Bill (Will) Allison (bass and vocals), Roger Ross (drums and vocals), and Ryan Hartman (guitar and vocals) launched their honkytonk rockabilly / traditional country / bluegrass band, and infused it with a real flair for showmanship and a broad and ever-growing repertoire. Though live events had been suspended, the band played mostly streaming events, and eventually by the time audiences returned, the band had honed and polished a rapid fire, exciting and deeply engaging four hour set.
Wild Bill and the Bruisers are now one of the busiest sought-after bands on Broadway, and word of their huge appeal continues to spread quickly. From recent appearances in such as the Nashville episode of Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” where Phil Rosenthal describes the band as “Phenomenal,” to superfans daily tagging Instagram and Facebook reels with creative superlatives, all are well-deserved.
