Fiona Walden Biography
At the avant-garde of French pop, writer, composer and producer Fiona Walden conceptualizes and masters each stage of her musical and visual identity to create an hypnotic and singular world.
With her first EP, 'Wanted', Fiona caught the attention of the media, who often compared her to a modern-day Patti Smith. She then won the « Coup de Coeur » award at the Chantier des Francos in 2017, before taking a new turn in her career by exploring sound design (Givenchy, Unprint...) to better reinvent herself. By discovering solo composition and production for the first time, new horizons opened up to her. Fiona experiments in her studio to shape her new artistic direction, forging a unique pop sound born of her encounter with machines.
Her signature deep, haunting voice reveals multidimensional layers of pop, electro, hip-hop and synth-pop, co-produced with Apollo Noir (Jeanne Added, Silly Boy Blue...) and Gaëtan Réchin Lê Ky-Huong from Pony Pony Run Run on her first single PARTIES.
She transcends genres, influenced by the cinema of David Lynch and Tarantino, and reflects on her inspirations: from The Weeknd and David Bowie to Billie Eilish, 070 Shake and Frank Ocean. She’s back with the single 'Parties', released on her own label 'PseudoMotion' (n.m. acceleration of a spaceship entering hyperspace).
