About MaZela
MaZela emerges from the search for balance between accepting pain and attempts to reduce it.
The project started in 2020 by Maria Roque on vocals and guitar, and is now interlaced with a second guitar by Alexandre Mendes.
Between 2022 and 2023, MaZela played Bons Sons Festival, Super Bock Super Nova and Apura. For the more distracted, it is Maria Roque's voice and guitar that can be heard in “Canção a Zé Mário Branco” on the award-winning album “2 de Abril” by A Garota Não.
“Naveguei” had a first version that is part of the compilation Super Castelo Branco, released last October, but now appears in this new version as the first single of the EP - “Desgostos em Canções de Colo” which will be released in spring 2024.
