Spellgaze Biography
Ethereal, dark and emotionally driven; Alt-rock band Spellgaze established themselves in April 2023 during their time at university in Leicester; England.
Consisting of frontman Ben Davies (songwriter, guitarist and vocals), Henry Hewkin (bass), Pedro Tolloto (guitar) and Sam McLean (drummer); they have become renowned for their ‘songs laden with punch and resonance, verve, vitality and lashings of life’ making them ‘a band that is well worth seeing’ – Trevor Locke (Music in Leicester).
Taking inspiration from a range of genres including dream pop, grunge, post-punk, psychedelic, indie, goth rock and more; Spellgaze are described as having ‘dramatic grungy stylings, making waves and new fans with every gig’ – Nirvardy.
