Wave Break Biography
NJ-based Alt Rock / Pop Punk band.
WAVE BREAK is quickly becoming a staple in the Jersey Shore music scene. Having opened for bands such as Palisades and Secrets, played at legendary venues such as House of Independents and The Stone Pony, and toured across the east coast, their steady upward trajectory is undeniable. After releasing two heavy hitting EPs in 2018 and 2021, in 2023 they started the new era of the band with their single “Spark” where they enlisted the help of multi-platinum producers ZK Productions to mix/master it (Mayday Parade, The Summer Set, We Are The In Crowd). Then came “Call Me Cynical,” a blistering track about the selfishness of the human condition that showed a more aggressive side to the band. In late summer 2024, the band will be releasing their new third EP, “Ignite//Decay,” containing three additional tracks that continue in the more polished and refined direction the band has been heading in. This body of work showcases the band’s distinctive talent for combining infectiously catchy pop melodies with instrumentation that pulls influences from a wide array of rock sub-genres. The band wants the record to serve as a beacon of hope for listeners, motivating them to keep going when things seem impossible, as this has been their mantra since the beginning.
