Three-time Grammy nominated artist and American blues legend John Primer is a masterful storyteller and songwriter. Winning awards for Traditional Blues Artist of the Year and Blues Album of the Year in 2024, John Primer and his band continues to captivate crowds at clubs and festivals, maintaining their influential presence in today's Blues music scene. Imagine being right in the middle of the action as talented musical artists take the stage. Don't miss your chance to be part of the Studio 3 LIVE audience! Hosted by Mickey Davis, Studio 3 LIVE features local, regional and national artists taking to the stage to perform original sets and share their musical journeys. Season 2 of Studio 3 LIVE will premiere on statewide Iowa PBS this fall. Exclusive for this concert, Iowa PBS will be extending their usual stage seating to include auditorium seats. Attendees will be seated behind studio cameras in the auditorium for a unique behind-the-scenes experience. Attendance is free but registration is required. Registered attendees will need to arrive by 6:30 p.m. with the hour-long recording session beginning at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
