Michael Kaneko Biography
Michael Kaneko is a singer-songwriter born in Tokyo, raised in Southern California.
Michael has played at the two biggest festivals in Japan, FUJI ROCK and SUMMER SONIC. In 2015, his home recorded demo album became number 1 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart in Japan. He has sung on numerous TV commercials in Japan for companies such as Toyota, Panasonic, Ikea etc. The Toyota commercial Michael sang on, "Loving Eyes," went viral globally and has over 6.7 million views on
His collaboration with Japanese DJ unit AmPm has garnered over 10 million plays on all streaming platforms. His music has also been shared by Hollywood actress Chloë Grace Moretz on social media.
Michael released his first EP “Westbound EP” in the Autumn of 2017.
