Class A concert in a small and very nice club.
The sound at both bands was really good, audience was nice, and it was just the perfect
amount of people.
First band - Deathless Void - was so good! Strong hypnotic Black / Death Metal executed perfectly, very good songs, glad I could grab the very last vinyl at the merc stand.
Then Dool started, they just rocked, great atmosphere, great crowd, the setlist was well chosen, gig was very professional, was such a pleasure.
It was an excellent evening, we had tons of fun during and after the show.

About DOOL
Everything flows, nothing ever stays the same. Life itself is in a constant state of flux. How do we keep being ourselves in a world that is so incredibly demanding and aggressive with all its input? We must be as fluid as water to navigate ourselves through this ocean of possibilities and uncertainties - and make peace with chaos and impermanence. After the critically acclaimed first two albums 'Here Now, There Then' and Summerland, Dutch five-piece DOOL returns with an album that shows a band that has truly developed their own voice. The Shape of Fluidity exhibits an eclectic but seamless mix between progressive rock, metal and post-rock without losing the catchiness and dynamic backdrop DOOL is known for. The collective songwriting efforts of Raven van Dorst, Nick Polak, and Omar Iskandr, mixed with JB van der Wal’s sub-frequencies and the creativity of new drummer Vincent Kreyder, results in an album that is audibly the most collective endeavor of the band to date. The Shape of Fluidity is about finding oneself, swimming up against the stream, and facing the world head on. Simultaneously, the lyrics deal with the story of lead singer Raven van Dorst, who was born intersex, and as an infant surgically forced to live their life as a girl. That was until deciding to take matters into their own hands a few years ago by reclaiming the space that was taken from them.
May all those who wander gather under the fluid flag of DOOL.
