Her music oscillates between black metal, dark folk, occult rock and dark ambient, while deliberately dissolving genre boundaries in the name of “Aural Luciferian Witchcraft”.So far, MONDERNTE (German for “Moon Harvest”) has self-released three cassettes in true DIY fashion, as well two splits through the Swiss underground label Hexenkult and the German label AbArt Corruption.MONDERNTE started performing her musical offerings on stage in 2022, most notably at the Icelandic metal festivals Norðanpaunk, Andkristni and Doomcember, as well as in Switzerland and soon Germany and Australia.???IrreparableIRREPARABLE formed in 2019 and began to forge an experimental and emotionally expressive musical form mixing black metal with goth/darkwave and industrial/ambient.With themes of loss and disillusionment, the band self-released their debut EP digitally in late 2019 called Transfixion (later released on CD by Narcoleptica Productions) just before the worldwide pandemic hit in 2020.The band managed to play their debut live show in 2021 supporting US dark folk legend King Dude in between lockdowns and spent the downtime crafting what would be their 2nd EP Complete Emptiness released May 2023 by the band on CD, and by the Italian label These Hands Melt on vinyl. Complete Emptiness further explores themes of loss, cyclical suffering and emptiness and was officially launched when the band supported US goth rockers Unto Others at the Melbourne leg of their Australian tour.Since then, while working on their debut full-length album, the band have played a few select shows including Adelaide and Sydney (supporting the infamous Lord Kaos).???RequiteMelbourne's up and coming black metal band focusing on post-black metal’s soundscape, making their own sound with a haunting blend of intensely blackened melodies and unapologetically raw emotions.Bringing hard-hitting live shows expressing despair and misery with their bleak lyrical content. Requite brings a cathartic experience, offering a chance to confront and process the depressing aspects of existence through their live sets.Since the release of their debut self-titled EP in June 2023 to local acclaim, Requite has been supporting Melbourne and Canberra’s renowned acts gaining a reputation for bringing an early crowd and creating the dark tone to kick off an evening of extreme metal riffage.???DJ Slaytanix Bursting on to the scene in 2019, DJ Slaytanix has been doing the rounds through the dive bars of Melbourne, bringing a cache of alternative, fast, heavy and classic tunes. His love for all things metal is only equal to his insatiable thirst for beer and bringing the party times to a dive near you!Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe space that everyone can enjoy.Crowd surfing & dangerous behaviour will result in removal from the venue.Full conditions of entry | Accessibility Info Can't make the event?
