Pete Bush & the Hoi Polloi Biography

Backed by punchy riffs, intricate transitions and slinky jazz melodies, the new record by Pete Bush and the Hoi Polloi, A Beginners Guide to the End offers an honest look at life that so many of us are afraid to share. We are all full of faults and final conversations, those had and those so unfairly stolen from us. Pete Bush embraces those emotions, refusing to hide in a soft focus. The moments he shares are what defines him; the memories he holds closest. Life can't be scrubbed clean, and by capturing these songs live in the moment the Hoi Polloi preserves the raw emotion of Bush's words. These songs are presented as is, opting for purity over polish. The trio maybe be separated by distance - Bush is located on the West coast with Jesse Prentiss and Troy Cramer firmly entrenched at the confluence of the three rivers - but working through each song and emotion has brought them together and made these songs a true band effort. When we close our eyes for that last time, The Beginners Guide to the End asks us to forget about the mistakes we made. The band refuses to let us fixate on how'd we'd do it differently. No, these seven songs are a reminder that our most precious moments are not the ones that let us rewrite the past but the ones that remind us that ours is a life truly lived Get the new CD "A Beginner's Guide to The End" here! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/petebushandthehoipolloi3
