About this concert
$25 Seated / $20 Standing Recording artist, Les Dudek, is known in the music world as a Guitar Legend whose contributions have influenced the history of Rock 'n' Roll. With Columbia Records, Les Dudek released four highly acclaimed solo albums; the self-titled debut "Les Dudek" (1976), "Say No More" (1977), "Ghost Town Parade" (1978), and all the music magazines' top pick for 1981, "Gypsy Ride". Also, released on Columbia Records was a collaboration with Mike Finnigan and Jim Krueger entitled "The Dudek-Finnigan-Krueger Band" (DFK). Les Dudek is best remembered for his radio hits, "Old Judge Jones", "City Magic", "Deja-Vu" and "Ghost Town Parade". More recently, the legendary Southern Rocker has gone on to release three more albums with Eflat Productions; "Deeper Shades of Blues" (2001), "Freestyle" (2003) and "Delta Breeze" (2013). In addition to a successful solo career, his uniquely recognizable guitar style can be heard daily on interactive games, television and film. For example, Les wrote and performed instrumental library music for television. This music can be heard on NBC, ABC, ESPN, FOX SPORTS and E channel. These instrumentals are featured on such programs as "Friends", "Extra", "Wild On", "Search Party", and "Access Hollywood". As an in-demand guitarist, playing and recording with some of Rock and Pop's biggest names, such as Steve Miller Band, Boz Scaggs, The Allman Brothers Band, Dave Mason, Stevie Nicks, Maria Muldaur, Cher and many more. As a songwriter, he co-wrote "Sister Honey" with Stevie Nicks, which appeared on her "Rock A Little" album. He co-wrote "Sacrifice" with James "Curly" Cooke on Steve Miller's "Book of Dreams" album and "Blue Eyes" with Ron Richotte on Steve Miller's "Wide River" album. He wrote "Get It Right" which appeared on Dave Mason's album, "Old Wave on a New Crest" and "You Know It" from Cher's "Black Rose" album. His association with Cher led him to an acting part, as the guitar playing biker character, Bone, in the movie "Mask", (also starring Sam Elliott). Three of his songs, "Because She Wants To", "Trouble With the Law" and "Turk's Blues" are in the movie. Les Dudek, without question, is and has been for a long time, one of the most sought after session guitarists by demanding artists everywhere. He is well-known for the dueling guitar with Dickey Betts on the song "Ramblin' Man" and the slide guitar on "Windows" from Steve Miller's album, "Fly Like an Eagle". He is well remembered for the slide guitar heard on "Jump Street" from Boz Scaggs' "Silk Degrees" album and appears on all the videos made for that album including "Lido Shuffle" and "Low Down".
