About this concert
To date, a collaborative project documenting the growing and diverse Hip Hop/Rap scene in Ireland has not existed. Being a central figure in the scene, Rory has pulled together some of the country's most exciting lyricists, creating I.H.M, a celebration of Irish rap from Belfast, to Mullingar, to Tallaght and beyond. To mark this release, which has been 2 years in the making, the IHM MCs will be doing a one off show in The Button Factory on Sunday May 26th, where they will be performing the album start to finish. Support from MOONCUP, solo sets from Curtisy and legendary MC Tony Bontana, as well as special guests on the night.

Rory Sweeney Biography
Rory Sweeney is hard to define, having made a name for himself as one of the key artists in the Irish Underground. His solo music is both dramatic and playful, with glitchy electronics and cinematic balladry.
Mostly known for acclaimed production work for artists such as Sello, Curtisy, Kojaque, Aoife Wolf, EMBY and Pippa Molony, Rory seamlessly traverses mainstream and experimental sounds. He is the current AVA Festival Producer of the Year recipient.
His work has landed him on countless end of year lists over the past 3 years, having seen support from several acclaimed artists such as Lord Apex, Machine Girl, Objekt, Neffa T, Oblig, Kelly Moran, Sha Ru, MI EL, Will Bankhead, Maria Somerville, DJ Spit, J Colleran (MMOTHS) and Shampain.
