Mine damer og herrer – Velkommen til Prohibition!
Vi tar dere med på en unik reise 100 år tilbake i tid til forbudstidens Trondheim der ulovlig dans og alkohol sirkulerte på fester med overflod og dekadense.
Vi byr på det beste Norge har å by på av dansere og musikere i 20-tallssjangeren og lover et helaftens show med swingmusikk, dans og caberet fra øverste hylle.
Dette blir et show av de sjeldne, med hatter, fjær og paljettkjoler; der de fjongeste damene og stiligste herremennene danser inn i det nye året . En kveld der champagne-boblene aldri sprekker.
En fest selveste The Great Gatsby ville misunnet!

det gamle. Med flere av Norges beste dansere leverer Show de Vida et ellevilt show dere sent vil glemme!

Swing'it Biography
Swing’it is the story of a group of dappers diggin’ the 20s era. Founded by the Norwegian band leader Martin Jarl whilst studying jazz music in London, this band has developed into one of the most successful trad jazz bands in Norway and Europe. They take the audience on a journey 100 years back in time to the 1920s New Orleans, telling stories about the roaring 20s and the foundation of jazz; about glamour, glitter and the Great Gatsby; about bootleggers, speakeasies and illegal parties during the Prohibition and flappers and dappers partying their nights away in the opulence and decadence of the Golden Era!
Their music is the perfect blend between vintage and modern; inspired by the old, but presented fresh and new. Taking the traditional jazz for what it actually was – party music – and mixing it with poppy arrangements and a great live show results in a unique atmosphere that puts a smile on everyone’s face. Due to their versatility and flexibility they’re performing shows for all age groups and to every occasion, spanning from jazz clubs and speakeasies; cocktail clubs and high class events; Gatsby parties and Prohibition events to corporate events, weddings and cruise ships.
Their first single released in 2019 – Party Like it’s 1923 – along with it's electro spin remix was a big success, streaming more than 1 million on Spotify during the first year. Their debut EP – 1923 – was released in April 2020
