Coral Biography

Coral is a 22 year-old British singer songwriter songstress born in Blackburn Lancashire, before moving to the Isle of Man. Coral’s passion to sing became evident by her first Christmas gift request as a 2 year old which was a microphone. All she has ever wanted from life is to perform.

Through the years Coral has developed as an artist, drawing her early influences from the likes of Celine Dion, Coldplay and The Killers to more latterly Gabrielle Aplin, Snow Patrol, Adele, Emile Sande, Lord and Birdy.

Coral spent 2 years in her mid-teens vocal training in London with David and Lisa Laudat and has gone on to work with several songwriters / producers including Dee Adam and Tobey Jepson. Katie Melua and James Toseland have also been extremely developmental in Corals progress, providing guidance and a sounding board for Corals music.

Coral is currently working with Ilana Lorraine, Creative Director of The coach House retreat & founder of sessions58. It’s here where she has steadily developed her artistry, performance, songwriting skills and musical journey working with Ilana her amazing team – including Leon King, Sophie Delila and Dale Davis (Music Director for Amy Winehouse and now Emeli Sandé).

Coral now regularly performs in and around London being part of the music artist collective at Sessions58, most recently at Shoreditch House. She is now putting together mini tour to promote her upcoming EP.

As a special talent on the rise – Coral exemplifies the youthful hope of a generation; her songs deliver stories of love, faith, resilience, ambition and struggle. All of which are a genuine reflection of Coral’s life experiences to date, and that authenticity is captivating.
