Taking a look back at June of 2021, when businesses were starting to reopen in San Francisco, Secret Psychedelica was reborn as a Gemini themed parklet party in front of the renown venue. Since then, the monthly psytrance night has continued to bring in producers and DJs from around the world without missing a beat! For this special occasion, Secret Psychedelica will be hosting a United Beats Records party with the label's captain, Mad Maxx! And of course, there will be a lineup full of Gemini DJs to electrify the dance floor!! As always, it's an extreme honor to have Mad Maxx perform in San Francisco. Being one of the most sought after psytrance producers in the world, the City is quite lucky Maxx loves to make DNA Lounge one of his main stops in the US. Having started his psychedelic trance journey in the Bay Area over 20 years ago, he always finds time out of his busy touring and label work schedule to make it back to his former hometown. And upon every return, he always brings a new level of energy for his fans in the 415. Maxx will showcase his label, United Beats Records, at Gemini 2024 and blast new and unreleased tunes delivered in a whirlwind of psychedelia. Joining him in representing United Beats Records will be newly added label DJ, Michael Liu. Returning from last year's Gemini lineup will be Nicolo of PsyberTribe Records and Cofun from TranceFamily SF. Nicolo's history with Secret Psychedelica and the Bay Area psytrance scene goes back almost a quarter century. Not only was he the first to help with the decorative side of Secret Psychedelica from the early to mid 2000s, Nicolo also supplied deco for many of Northern California's psytrance events. Nicolo is also one of the first to champion the faster, darker sounds of the genre with his label and consistent DJ appearances. On the flip side, Cofun sends uplifting and inspirational vibrations through her unique selection of psytrance tracks. Her experiences from DJing for San Francisco's premiere trance organization has given her the skills to connect with audiences on a more intimate level. Starting the evening will be Secret Psychedelica resident Synwrks who's opening sets have now become a familiar ritual for all the early arrivals. The second room will consist of Dioskouroi DJs from Word of Mouth, SDravers, the Ambient Mafia, Hardcore in the Bay, and Fractal Factory. These artists, all born under the third sign of the zodiac, will travel the full spectrum of electronica intensities from psychill to progressive, trance and hardstyle into hi-tech!
