Everyone Is Dirty Biography
Hypnotic, defiant, wildly unpredictable, Everyone Is Dirty’s moody brand of alt-pop rock comes from embracing every aspect of Sivan Lioncub’s cumulative identities. “I’m a rock’n’roller, I play electric violin, I’m Turkish, middle eastern, first gen american, I’m queer, bi, very femme but also very masc. For a long time I felt like I had to choose which parts of myself to show, I felt ashamed of playing violin, like it was a part of myself I needed to hide, but now I’ve stopped trying to be something I’m not.”
Building on the breakout success of their debut album “Dying Is Fun”, their latest body of work is the sound of an artist pushing against all confines and ultimately creating a thrilling new space within the rock world. Apart from their spectacular live show, they are about to sell out of the first two runs of their latest vinyl release, 'Caramels For Grandpa'! Violinist/vocalist Sivan Lioncub also performs with Shannon Shaw (Shannon & The Clams) & The Residents.
