They first gained international recognition with their many releases on legendary label Slap-A-Ham Records and published multiple albums by the Tokyo-based band. They are known widely for their tongue-in-cheek humor, adrenaline inducing enthusiasm on stage, and their fast paced songs. The group once known as Noukasuitai, was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1991. In late 1993, they changed their name to Slight Slappers. In July 1995, they released a split with Capitalist Casualties leading to widespread critical acclaim among fans of the Powerviolence genre. Originating from Burbank, California, Lack of Interest has been a staple of the Powerviolence since the band's formation in 1990. They are known for their distinct sound and vocal style. Their influence has made a lasting impact on the genre and this can be heard in many contemporary acts today. After almost 10 years, the band returns to make their final Bay Area performance. Yacøpsæ is a German Powerviolence band formed in 1990. They emerged out of the Hamburg squatter punk scene and have been active ever since. YDI Biography

This band, whose name is pronounced "Why Die?", released one single in 1983. The A Place In the Sun 7" was released by the band as Blood Bubble Records #1. Musically, this band had more in common with the tough skinhead sounds of Detroit and Boston than the lighthearted skatecore most of their Philly peers played. In songs like "Mad at the World," singer Jackal rips through lyrics like "Look into my eyes and see / I'm not normal you can believe / Savage fury, uncontrollable rage / I'm gonna put you in the grave." One thing about YDI is that although playing a genre of music often associated with sketchy racial politics, both Jackal and drummer Howard were black. In "Categorized," the lead track on Side B, Jackal barks "Prejudiced eyes look upon me / Judge me by sight, take away my rights / Not knowing what I'm like or what I can do / I'm stuck with a label till the day I die."

The band also dropped two tracks for the Philly compilation LP Get Off My Back with bands like FOD, McRad, and Autistic Behavior.
