Doors open 7.15 pm, music from 8.00 pm sharp. Nearest tube King's Cross, 6 minutes walk. Tom Mansi & The Icebreakers launch their brand new album 'Eyeball'. Look through the lens of Tom Mansi & The Icebreakers and what will you see? A passion for the blues and raw rock ?n? roll manifested in a band who have been playing together for the last 26 years. Fronted by double bassist, vocalist and songwriter, Tom Mansi, the band?s style follows in the footsteps of indie garage bands of the late 00?s. Often compared to those such as Jon Spencer blues explosion and Heavy Trash for their vintage sound and old-skool approach to recording. As a double bassist Tom has worked with many different artists, touring with 60?s folk singer Donovan, recording for British DJ duo ColdCut, preforming alongside Dr Hook at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul and playing nightly in a surreal lecture tour with film maker David Lynch. Tom Mansi, guitarist Paul White and drummer James Johnston met at school in North London. They have performed at many venues and festivals across the UK and Europe including ? Glastonbury, Secret Garden party, The Big Chill, The Scala and Hammersmith Palais. Supporting the likes of Son of Dave, Imelda May, Florence & The Machine, The Sadies and Fat Freddie?s Drop. The band also had 4-year residency at the Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch London playing their original material. To date They have release 3 studio albums, with the 4th ?Eyeball set to be released in summer 2024.
