Cristina Clara Biography
Fado, choro, morna, traditional Portuguese music. Cristina Clara can not be squeezed into a single musical genre. She brings them all together into the songs that build her first album. She creates bridges between different musical universes. That is her way to promoting exchange and honor musicians and songwriters from different places and realities.
Her first album – Lua Adversa (Adverse Moon) – presents revisited and original songs that reflect her contemporary vision on tradition, interpreted by musicians coming from jazz, traditional Portuguese music and Brazilian popular music. The result is a colorful melody that all people can share, sing and dance.
In 2024 she is one the invited authors of Festival da Canção, running for Eurovision Song Contest.
