Used to think Baroness was "Mastodon Lite" but seeing them live last night spontaneous but completely in unison they revealed how they are truly one of a kind. One of those shows where you blink and its over because they're impossible to watch without being 100% invested in every second.
Best show I've seen at Webster, in the last couple of years (even amongst
Clutch and Sparta in Austin and Gaslight and Bouncing Souls) and in my top 10 of all time.

Baroness Biography
Grammy-award nominated heavy rock outfit Baroness mark their much-anticipated return with new album, STONE. Their sixth record overall and third released via Abraxan Hymns, STONE finds the Philadelphia-based quartet of John Baizley (guitars/vocals/illustration), Gina Gleason (guitars), Nick Jost (bass), and Sebastian Thomson (drums) streamlining the momentous multi-genre vocabulary of its critically-acclaimed predecessor Gold & Grey (2019). STONE’s most prominent tracks, "Last Word,” “Beneath the Rose,” “Shine,” and “Anodyne," reflect thoughtfully, groove deeply, and refract tumult effortlessly. They, of course, rock.
