Jesse Isley Biography
Nashville guitar slinger Jesse Isley has played guitar since he was 11 years old and performed his first original concert at 16. Born and raised in Columbia, SC, Isley majored in music in college and was an active musical force throughout the Carolinas. In 2012, he re-located to Nashville, where he continues to perform and work as a studio session player. Isley toured as lead guitarist for grammy award nominated songwriter, Will Hoge. Over the years he has played for acts including Mark Collie, Bryan White, Tanya Tucker, Billy Bob Thornton, Keith & Kristyn Getty and more. Isley has appeared on many stages across the country, including the Grand Ole Opry and The Late Show with David Letterman. In spring 2015, he traveled with pop artist Danika Portz through the Persian Gulf, entertaining U.S. and Allied troops on an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour. Isley has been fronting his own band since 2013, commanding audiences with his original music, playing 50 shows/festivals per year. His live performances are "fresh, energetic, and heartfelt" and "reminiscent of a Mayer or a Frampton." Jesse Isley released his first solo album “Realistic" in summer of 2015, a rich mixture of California and Nashville influences, available on iTunes. He is currently recording his second album.
