About this concert
Electric Litany are laden with what sounds like thousands of guitars played in a synth desert landscape to the unconventional dark groove of experimental robotic rhythms, guided by a spiritual futuristic prayer call. Electric Litany is a London-based 4-piece whose music incorporates post-rock, synthpop, neoclassical, electronica and experimental soundscapes. In their formative years the band lived and rehearsed in abandoned buildings across East London, including Leyton Town Hall and The Fallen Angel in Walthamstow. In 2008 they recorded their debut single and video 'Tear' at The Fallen Angel, with the track including a transcript from Greek poet and activist Ghiannis Ritsos, and have since released three LPs and two EPs. After supporting Interpol on their European tour they collaborated with Alan Parsons on their 2nd album, which paved the way to a main stage appearance alongside The Prodigy and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. This year they release their much-anticipated fourth album. Support TBA

ELECTRIC LITANY Biography

Electric Litany is a London-based quartet blending post-rock, synthpop, neoclassical, electronica, and experimental
sounds. They've released three albums and two EPs:
"How To Be A Child and Win The War" (2010)
"Enduring Days You Will Overcome" (2014)
"Under A Common Sky" (2019)
"Love" EP (2016)
"Sonder" EP (2021)
In their formative years Electric Litany lived and rehearsed in abandoned buildings across East London. In 2008,
they secured a record deal with Inner Ear Records and in 2009, recorded their debut album in a North London
church.
Following the release of their debut album ‘how to be a child and win the war’, they supported Interpol as part of
their 2011 European tour.
They gained international recognition with their second album, co-produced by music legend Alan Parsons, who
called them "the next Radiohead" and supported the Alan Parsons Project on tour.
In 2015, they were asked to perform in Syntagma Square in front of half a million people. They toured repeatedly
leading up tot the release of their third album in 2019, when they also founded their label, Azure Records.
Their third album was licensed to Apollon and Inner Ear Records. Soon after, they shared the stage with The Prodigy
and Black Rebel, Motorcycle Club.
In 2020, they released a bootleg album to support pandemic charities followed by the critically aclaimed EP,
Sonder, released in 2021. The band has recently finished recording their new and most anticipated album and is
partnering up with major labels and publishers to take this new show on the road.
