Lory Muratti Biography

Lory Muratti is a musician, writer, sound designer and art director who was born in Varese (Italy). He has published novels and albums for more than ten years behind the alias “Tibe”. With the project “Hotel Lamemoria” set between London and Lugano and published by Mondadori in 2007, he has created a new way to comunicate through music and literature that meet in his production as two parts of the same Opera. Lory Muratti sound design productions have been exhibited at prestigious events around the world including “Luminale Frankfurt 2010 and “Biennale di Venezia 2011”. He is also has the great pleasure of collaborating with many professional musicians and worldwide artists, including Lorne Lanning, Leo Abrahams, Krisma and Marlene Kuntz. As Dj and sound designer he has played for brand as BMW, Algida, Nokia and Heineken, in many international clubs and during events as Burning Man (Nevada Desert). In his previous literary and music productions snippets of his own family history can be found that Lory Muratti has then shared with the public thanks to the latest project “Scintilla” an album and a novel published in Italy by Mescal and Feltrinelli. Lory Muratti is now working on a new project and also touring with his show "Monologo*Concerto". A spectacle out of the box where Muratti fills the stage, alternating between the tracks of the album played on the piano and striking theatrical moments in which the author captures the attention of the guests playing important parts of the novel in at one stage of great intensity.
