AFTER SMOKE CLEARS is a four-piece modern metalcore band from South London. Since 2020 we've received glowing reviews on our two main releases, from highly influential publications, Metal Hammer ('Edification' (2020) given 7/10, and 'The Fear' (2023) given 8/10), and others including Metal Injection, Distorted Sound, and more.
The critically acclaimed debut album Edification was released in 2020, was followed by 'The Fear' EP, featuring a guest appearance from CJ McMahon (Thy Art is Murder) (listen here). The EP has been described as 'redefining the genre' by Metal Hammer.
