The Red Chord Biography

The Red Chord is a metal band from Revere, MA which combine grindcore, deathcore and death metal together to make their music.

Containing members of Beyond the Sixth Seal, The band is known for its spastic rhythms similar to that of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Cryptopsy and Mastodon. Vocalist Guy Kozowyk runs the label Blackmarket Activities, home to bands such as Animosity,From a Second Story Window, Deadwater Drowning, Behold... the Arctopus, and Ed Gein.

They have released three fast paced technical grind and Metalcore influenced albums from 2002 to the present day. Their debut was released in early 2002 called "Fused Together in Revolving Doors" by Robotic Empire. Then the band, three years later, released their follow up album "Clients" which was released by Metal Blade Records. The album contained tight technical twisting riffs, fast paced drumming and deepen growls.

After this well received album the band went on tour and came back to write and record new material for the release of their second album with Metal blade records called "Prey for Eyes" in 2007. This album redirected the bands direction with faster, harsher and deeper growls. Yet, still technical and twisting than ever before. The band is currently touring to support this new release.
