Steve MasakowskiMars was the name given to the band created by renowned New Orleans guitarist, composer, educator and inventor Steve Masakowski in 1981. Influenced by the early evolving electronic instruments and composers of the day, their LP simply entitled Mars was recorded and released in 1982 and featured Dave Liebman on sax, Ricky Sebastian on drums, Patrice Fisher on harp, and Kent Jordan on flute. During the 1980s, the band would frequently present concerts with visual artist John Graubarth.
