About this concert
Get the whole family together for an interactive classical musical experience from innovative ensemble The Multi-Story Orchestra. The orchestra takes the audience on a journey, culminating in a seated performance in the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Led by the orchestral musicians, Living Programme Notes consists of short interactive performances exploring different aspects of the music. With musicians spread across the foyer, the audience are free to explore and get involved. You are guided around the space with the opportunity to explore and enjoy, before being led into the hall. Winners of a 2016 Royal Philharmonic Society award, The Multi-Story Orchestra are celebrated as one of the most exciting young ensembles in the UK. They’ve made a name for themselves giving extraordinary performances, telling stories and unleashing creativity in unexpected places – including multi-storey car parks. They’ve also appeared at the BBC Proms and on BBC Radio 3.
