About this concert
The Outlaw Orchestra 3 accomplished musicians from the south coast of the UK exuding the Saturday night hell raising escapism of the weekend. Dubbed ?Heavy Grass? by one DJ due to the combination of Hard Rock meets Country twang but maybe most accurate would be as suggested by another radio station: The Outlaw Orchestra ~ The love child of Motorhead and Johnny Cash! Whether at a biker fest, a dive bar or an auditorium, the Outlaws are at home, delivering catchy hard rocking songs about everyday life laced with deep south spirits and delivered with a British Rock n Roll sense of humour. They drew the largest crowd ever at Ramblin Man?s Rising stage and the biggest outdoor crowd at Custom Rock n Blues Bike festival since Motorhead. They've many times graced Sheffield's 02, Bowl and Planet Rock stages and have supported Skid Row, The Dead Daisies, The Darkness, Brothers Osborne, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons (of Motörhead), Reef and many more. Life on the road has paid off with weekly air time of Planet Rock Radio, BBC Introducing, countless online radio stations and hitting the pages of Hard Rock Hell mag, Metal Planet, Emerging Rock bands and Powerplay. The records demonstrate musical ability and clever song writing but it?s live that they thrive putting on a hell of a show wherever they play, pulling the audience in and ensuring a wild night. The Outlaw Orchestra will leave you with a sore foot from stamping, a sore face from grinning and some devilish Outlaw in your blood! The Outlaw Orchestra have a long history with Crazy Cowboy, going back all the way to the time when they were known as Dirty Diesel Outlaw Orchestra, and played both CC2 and CC3. Zachary Kibbee Zachary Kibbee is a Los Angeles native who is influenced by a variety of genres. The songwriter/producer picked up the bass at 14 and quickly moved on to guitar, drums and singing. From there he's played in numerous bands and shared the stage with bands like Social Distortion, B.B. King, CKY, Toby Keith, and even The Mowgli's. His music has been used in over 120 television shows, movies, commercials and ads since he branched out on his own in 2014. Zach is well known to many of the CC gang for his time with sleaze rock outfits Bullets & Octane and The Mercury Riots.

The Outlaw Orchestra Biography

The Outlaw Orchestra – this 3-piece from Southampton are bred from twin loves of rock-and-roll and irreverence. They’re an ‘Orchestra’ because they’re very fine musicians and they’re ‘Outlaw’ because they exude that Saturday night hell-raising, foot-stamping escapism that you look for in live music entertainment. And entertainers they are.

One radio DJ dubbed their music “Heavy Grass” stating it deserves its own name. Another described their virtuosic technical approach as like a Hillbilly-RUSH. It’s what you might expect if ZZ Top and the Rolling Stones circa 1973 joined forces - it works everywhere from honky tonk bars through to the Grand Ole Opry. Solid soul-thumping percussion backing up a front-end of driving slide guitar topped off with a banjo and lap steel. They’re a feast for eyes and ears, delivering home-grown music laced with spirit from every influence of the Deep South… Except it arrives through a veneer of very British humour. What’s not to love?

Ask the biggest crowd ever pulled at Ramblin Man’s Rising Stage, or any of the audience from their repeat invitations at the Sheffield O2 because, from club-stage to festival-stage, their magic keeps on working. From their first outing on a Planet Rock stage they graced the same bills as The Darkness, Reef, The Shires and Brothers Osbourne as well as Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons on their 2021 Tour.

They are nothing if not hard-working. Having released their debut album “Pantomime VIllains” in May 2020, The Outlaws followed up with a special acoustic mini-album “Powercut” and a collection of unique covers in their EP “Under the Covers” and the band’s 2nd full studio album “Makin’ Tracks” in October 2021.

Singles from Makin’ Tracks have earned the boys air time on Planet Rock, Chris Country and BBC Introducing and earned top marks from HRH Mag, Maverick Magazine, Metal Planet Music, ERB and Powerplay Magazine.

The records show what serious and precise musicians they are, but it’s live that they are a joy to behold – belting out their material interlaced with anecdotes and belly-laugh stories. It’s infectious fun. They’ll leave you with a sore foot from stamping, a sore face from grinning, and a devilish bit of outlaw in your blood.
