"Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley shred..." -Rolling Stone "An acoustic firestorm...Ickes & Hensley are changing the rules..." -Vintage Guitar "Two musical phenoms" -NPR "Dual lightning strikes in a bottle…" -Guitar Player "Two of the finest musicians playing today" -No Depression Take Rob Ickes, the most decorated musician in IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Awards history with 15 Dobro Player of the Year wins, and 2023 IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley, a Tennessee-born guitar prodigy identified as “Nashville's hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine and you have Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, a powerhouse GRAMMY®-nominated acoustic duo that has electrified the acoustic music scene. Known for their white-hot picking (as Acoustic Guitar puts it: "steel-string bluegrass with all the intensity of rock 'n' roll") and world class musicianship, Ickes & Hensley have collaborated with Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, Taj Mahal, Marty Stuart, Steve Wariner, Tommy Emmanuel (including touring and the release of an EP together), Little Feat, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, David Grisman, Jorma Kaukonen, and Hot Tuna, among many others. Their latest critically acclaimed album, "Living In A Song," is available now, and you can also hear the talented duo's collaboration with Molly Tuttle on the new "A Tribute To The Judds" album and as members of the Taj Mahal Sextet on the new live album, "Swingin' Live at the Church in Tulsa." About the opener: Rebecca Frazier gained notoriety as the first woman on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine and has since become known as “a genuine triple threat as singer, songwriter and flatpicking guitarist” (Nashville Scene). In 2017, Paste Magazine included Frazier in their piece titled “7 Women Smashing the Bluegrass Glass Ceiling.” Frazier was the first woman to be nominated for Guitar Player of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) in 2018, and was nominated again in 2019. Frazier is widely known for her work with award-winning Colorado-base bluegrass outfit, Hit & Run. The only band to win all three Rockygrass, Telluride, and SPBGMA festival band competitions.
