Tina & Her Pony

This show will feature Sam Rae (Charleston, SC), Sharkk Heartt (Tucson, AZ) & Tina & Her Pony (Asheville, NC). With ethereal and percussive looped cello Sam Rae weaves together folk infused songs with rich lyrical content inspired by Joni Mitchell and their time touring with Brandi Carlile. Sam Rae tours as a solo artist and has spent time on the road as a cellist and backup vocalist for Brandi Carlile (2015-2021) and Gregory Alan Isakov (2018). Singer/Songwriter Lara Ruggles performs simmering alt-pop anthems as Sharkk Heartt. Her dynamic and versatile vocals have been compared to Florence and the Machine, Sarah McLachlan, and Duffy, with an overall sound landing somewhere between London Grammar and Sylvan Esso.
