*English see below* 2023 was een ongelooflijk jaar voor ISE, waarin ze haar debuut maakte als singer-songwriter. Niet stond ze op festivals als Pukkelpop (BE), Sziget (HU) en Bospop (NL), ze won ook prestigieuze muziekwedstrijden waaronder Sound Track en Imagine Music Experience Netherlands. Dit jaar begon ook goed, toen ISE werd uitgeroepen als winnaar van de Vlaamse muziekwedstrijd De Nieuwe Lichting! ISE is samen te vatten als een jonge artiest met een volwassen geluid. Beïnvloed door haar idolen uit de jaren 90 en gewapend met alleen haar gitaar, creëert ze een geluid dat uniek van haar is. Maar wat haar echt onderscheidt, is haar rauwe stem en breekbare authenticiteit. Wat je ziet is wat je krijgt. Haar emoties zijn zo echt en herkenbaar als maar kan. En dat is precies wat haar drijft als songwriter: contact maken met haar publiek, zodat ze haar muziek 'voelen'. 2023 was an incredible year for ISE, making her debut as a singer-songwriter. Not only did she perform at festivals like Pukkelpop (BE), Sziget (HU), and Bospop (NL), but she also won prestigious music competitions including Sound Track and Imagine Music Experience Netherlands. The year started off well too, as ISE was announced as the winner of the Flemish music competition De Nieuwe Lichting! ISE can be described as a young artist with a mature sound. Influenced by her idols from the 90s and armed with only her guitar, she creates a sound that is uniquely hers. But what really sets her apart is her raw voice and fragile authenticity. What you see is what you get. Her emotions are as real and relatable as they come. And that is exactly what drives her as a songwriter: to connect with her audience so that they truly 'feel' her music.
