About this concert
Live music meets pre-recorded material in a boundary-pushing experience from Resident Artist Lawrence Power, with guests Héloïse Werner and Sergio Bucheli. In this event, Power uses footage of creative experimentations that he made in his Lockdown Commission series and from his close collaboration with film-maker Jessie Rodger through their production company, Âme. He is joined by the groundbreaking soprano and composer Héloïse Werner and lutenist Sergio Bucheli. They perform old and new music by Buxtehude, Fazıl Say, Werner, Marais, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Paganini, Thomas Larcher, Massenet and Esa-Pekka Salonen. Internationally acclaimed viola player Lawrence Power is widely heralded for his richness of sound, technical mastery and passionate advocacy for new music.
