Lola Colette Biography
Lola Colette is not your traditional singer songwriter. Colette is a Los Angeles based multi- instrumentalist, composer, producer, and classically trained pianist who weaves classic pop, folk, and world music influence throughout her songs - all of which are showcased on her upcoming EP, Flower in Bloom.
At 20 years old, she has already had a prolific career. Colette performed as the solo pianist for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 at Capitol Records Studios at the age of 12, and went on to perform the same role with the London Symphony Orchestra for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, at Abbey Road studios at age 15. She played bass with David Hasselhoff and band on the Howard Stern Show, and was the bassist and pianist at the MOSMA International Film Music Festival in Malaga, Spain with Tyler Bates’ ensemble. Her vocal chops can be heard on the new album, “Brighten,” by Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains and Peacock Network’s “Girl in the Woods” title sequence. At age 17, her work as a musician and artist led to a bass guitar endorsement with Schecter Guitars, where she is featured on the company’s website among many world class guitarists and bassists.
